Evidence standards
Show what was checked.
A useful check identifies the entity, source, scope and date. Keep business-provided information separate from independent source checks.
Specific status
Describe registration, credentials and expiry separately. One checked record does not establish every other fact about the business.
Corrections & review
Keep the original source, a dated review note and a way to flag a mismatch. Revisit evidence when its status or applicable dates change.
Privacy & scope
Publish the facts needed to understand a business credential, not private files or unrelated personal information. The current checklist is preparation, not completed verification.
